Biography: ABOUT JERI
Jeri started out drawing for a hobby in her early years. She soon realized her gift and decided she should get some formal training. She pursued degrees from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and The University of Southern Mississippi. As she developed over the years, her art focused on watercolors. She then started to transition to realistic art. The path soon led to her current focus, that of spiritualism. Her art direction focuses on her belief in God and the love He brings to her life. Her cross paintings and collages are spectacular and collected by many. She also does some secular art that include whimsical characters and animals in their natural setting. Many of her artworks are displayed in various art galleries around the Southeast. Her work is currently being shown at The Sun Orchard in Gautier, Mississippi, Main Street Florist in Moss Point, Mississippi, and Analeces in Fairhope, Mississippi. Jeri has participated in several fund-raising efforts for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Her work can also be found in several homes and offices around the United States. Jeri Hardy plans to continue bringing joy to those who view her art for many years to come. She has no plans to slow down. Jeri is a member of The Art House Co-Op and Gallery 782 Co-Op where her current work may be seen.
